at 6:00 a.m., Thai and Cambodian authorities opened a small gate next to the Thai-Cambodian Friendship Bridge at Ban Khlong Luek Checkpoint, Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province, to allow students to travel in and out of the two countries.Today marks the first day that Cambodian students have been allowed to cross the border, after Cambodian authorities requested the Thai-Cambodian Border Coordination Office (TBAC) yesterday (June 10) to relax the opening and closing times of the border crossing. As Cambodian people have reflected the problem that nearly 2,000 students who come to study in Thailand have been affected by the border crossing time restriction measures.
